Danniella Reardon (Dani) -
Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Helping individuals to live their best life has always been a passion of mine. For me this started when my mum was caring for my grandmother who was living with us at the time. From then I new that I wanted to pursue a career that involved working with people and helping them to thrive and kick their goals in life. At age 17 I started working in an Aged Care Facility and quickly found that I loved my job. At age 21 I knew that I wanted to find a position where I could spend more 1:1 time with the clients allowing the opportunity to get to know them and the ability to tailor the support I was providing in a way that would best suit them. This is when I transitioned into the disability sector where I found what I was looking for. Since then I am grateful to have been in positions allowing me to gain knowledge around the NDIS. At age 23 I started in a team leader role in a complex behaviour Supported Independent Living Home. In this position I was able to work with the client and their families to provide the best support the team could while working towards the clients life and NDIS goals. It wasn't long before I craved the want to work independently so at age 25 I started Hope Minded working as an independent support worker and with my experience in team management as well as finding the like minded individuals that I have, who share the same views and goals as my own. We are now a team of Support coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches who all love our job, our clients and our team.
